SUNNYVALE, CA, April 23, 2001 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced today that it is supplying Canon U.S.A, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon Inc. (NYSE: CAJ) with flash memory MultiMediaCards for its new Elura 2MC, a pocket-size hybrid digital video camcorder with still, motion and multimedia image capture capabilities. SanDisk is also supplying Canon with CompactFlash™ cards for its IXUS 300, PowerShot A10 and PowerShot A20 digital still camera models. A SanDisk 8 megabyte (MB) MultiMediaCard or CompactFlash card will be included with the sale of these cameras.
